help us support art.

Founded by a group of artists, 1646 has been for over a decade an exhibition space devoted to experiment in contemporary art.

1646 is a small organisation that runs thanks to the commitment of many volunteers

If you have an interest in art and have enjoyed our projects, you're welcome to get involved and help us develop future activities!

how to help.

1646 is cultural non-for-profit organisation and our supporters play a vital role in the continuation of our activity. If you wish to contribute too, you can do so either by making a Donation or becoming a Friend of 1646!

donate.

Because 1646 enjoys the status of Cultural ANBI (Public Benefit Organisation, in English), you can directly support our programs.
Every donation of this kind is elegible for tax relief as long as the donor is a tax payer in The Netherlands.

If you want to support 1646 with a donation, find all our details in our info page, thank you.

befriend.

Directly support young artists while receiving, in recognition of your help, a limited edition work produced every year in collaboration with an artist we've worked with: this year we'd like to thank Shana Moulton for her collaboration!

The complete overview of all pieces in the series produced for the friendship program can be downloaded here.
