Frank Koolen sits down with us to discuss his practice as an artist, a collector of subconscious instances, always conscious about the merits in failure and the need for resilience. Koolen presented his solo-exhibition Terra Nova at 1646 in 2010, which we also discuss from the perspective of the present decade.
