You need written goals and plans for every part of your life. You must become a meaningful specific rather than a wandering generality. Begin with your values. What is most important to you in life? What would you pay for, fight for, suffer for and die for? What do you really care about? What is your vision? What is your purpose? Why do you get up in the morning? Why are you down in the evenings? What is your reason for being? What is your reason for human being? What holds you back? What straightens your spine? What keeps your feet on the ground? How far can you run without shoes? How long can you hold your breath? What keeps you going? What stops you from being on top? What stops the elevator from coming down? What is your future plan? What are your former pains? What are your current complaints? How do you handle stress? How do you handle handshakes? What important item would you take to a desert island? What dessert would you take back to the mainland? What flavor ice cream would you be if were made out of milk?

The ssecret to ssuccess iss in the ss is a speech-based lecture performance which combines strategic business rhetoric with human failure. The smooth convincing tone of professionalism is obstructed by flaws such as faulty pronunciation, annoying sounds and tongue-twisters. The piece reflects upon how the demands on human efficiency aspire to compete with that of technology, and how these demands then come to exceed our basic human nature, desires and needs. In the continuation of my artistic research on how physical premises influence the delivery of speech, it attempts to challenge the conventional format of a rhetorical lecture.
