“For quite some time now I’ve been experimenting with storytelling and different ways of incorporating it to my visual work.

For my exhibition at 1646 I decided to take a short break and stop relying on narrative texts to structure my installations, leaning towards more “mute” pieces or works where words played a more plastic role. On the occasion of this Background Evening, I want to grant the honor of the words to someone else, to an Argentinian filmmaker I admire: Mariano Llinás.”
