Conversation Piece

For the Conversation Piece around the exhibition ‘Mindplace Thoughtstream’ of Shana Moulton, Nathalie Hartjes, director of the Nieuwe Vide in Haarlem, and curator and critic Jaring Dürst Britt were invited to share their thoughts on the work of Shana Moulton.

Together they joined in conversation and shed their light based on their own personal experience with the work of Shana Moulton – one well informed on her work, the other an admirer from a distance. In March 2013, Hartjes curated a ‘retrospective’ exhibition of the artist at Nieuwe Vide; Dürst Britt experienced Moulton’s performance at 1646.

Both conversators showed works and material of other artists, possible associations and references they have with the work of Moulton.
