For the background evening, Yair Callender gave a tour through his exhibition ‘For the vision of Abou Ben Adhem’. After the tour, Callender invited the audience for an open discussion on topics related to his work and practice.

The evening was closed with a musical performance by the band Exoplanet 4 with musicians:

About Yair Callender: Callender (1987, Netherlands) graduated in 2014 at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, and has received grants from Stroom Invest and Mondriaan Fund for emerging artists. Callender has exhibited before at a.o. ‘Open Air’, as part of Art Rotterdam 2018, TENT Rotterdam, Kunstvereniging Diepenheim, Nest Den Haag and at the Unfair in Amsterdam.
