Open Studio

For two years, 1646 was working together with Kooshk Residency (Tehran) to realize an artistic exchange between The Netherlands and Iran.

While Dutch artist Quinsy Gario was being hosted by Kooshk to develop new work in Tehran, Iranian artist Farahnaz Jalilvand was our guest in The Hague for a few weeks, drawing inspiration from the surroundings and the cultural offerings of The Hague and The Netherlands.

The public was welcomed to see what Jalilvand was making while on her stay at 1646, during her open studio on Sunday 14 October, from 2 -4 pm. Jalilvand was present to show her latest works and give further explanation.

Info

About Farahnaz Jalilvand participated in group exhibitions both internationally as in her home country Iran, in addition to taking part in Biennials of Sculpture, Contemporary Arts, conceptual art, Spiritual Arts, etc.
