Supermarket, the international artist-run art fair, provides a showcase for artists’ initiatives from all over the world with the goal of creating opportunities for new networks in the Swedish as well as the international art scene.
Supermarket, the international artist-run art fair, provides a showcase for artists’ initiatives from all over the world with the goal of creating opportunities for new networks in the Swedish as well as the international art scene.
A development of Minimarket, which was held at Konstnärshuset in February 2006 in reaction to the new commercial art fair Market, Supermarket was initiated and organised by artists and has rapidly evolved from a modest group of local initiatives to a full-fledged international art exhibition that has made its mark and helped firmly establish Stockholm on the art world map.
1646 contributed to the 2014 edition of Supermarket with an installation by Bonno van Doorn.
